Curry Tuna

One of my all time favorite dishes is called Curry Tuna. And I was thinking that now would be a good time to show folks how to make it.

It is a relatively simple and easy to make dish, that is also relatively inexpensive as well. Continue on to find the list of ingredients, as well as a small gallery of images that cover how it is made.

One of the great things about Curry Tuna is that it may be used as either the main course, or as a side dish. You may also substitute about 1 pound of pre-cooked chicken (either chopped small or shredded) for the tuna.

  • 1 Can Tuna
  • 1 Can Cream of Mushroom Soup
  • 1 Cup Rice (uncooked)
  • 1 soup can of Milk
  • Curry Powder (3/4 tablespoon, at least)

  1. Cook the Rice – Using the standard instructions from the rice packaging, cook the rice. It is ok if it is slightly underdone.
  2. Preheat Oven – to 375 degrees
  3. Tuna – Open and drain the tuna, and then put it in a baking dish
  4. Soup – Open the soup and pour it over the tuna
  5. Milk– fill the soup can with milk and then add it to the baking dish
  6. Mix Well – Mix the milk, tuna, and soup well
  7. Curry Powder – Add the curry powder to the baking dish and then mix well again
  8. Rice – Add the cooked rice to the baking dish and mix well again
  9. Bake Curry Tuna – bake the curry tuna at 375 degrees for 30-35 minutes
